Our Story
The Shaky Collective began with a simple search for the perfect Mother's Day gift. When three brothers couldn't find the funky, unique indoor planters they were looking for, they decided to make them instead.
What started as a quest for a thoughtful present quickly evolved into a passion project. Combining their diverse skills—two electricians and a CNC operator—the brothers began producing distinctive 3D-printed products from the family home in Alexandra.
Starting with planters and pendants, each piece is made in Central Otago and reflects our commitment to bringing modern, artistic style into everyday spaces. The Shaky Collective is more than a business—it's a family venture where brothers work side by side, teaching each other new skills, strengthening their bond, and building something meaningful together.
